"Ever since i was a little girl my parents have been taking me on holiday on the norfolk broads. I'm almost 22 now and if your thinking that i must be really bored going there every single year to the same place on the same holiday, your completely wrong. The Norfolk Broads appeals to every age and caters for everybody no matter what your into. The Norfolk Broads is a beautiful stretch of navigatable rivers dotted with tiny pictursque villages along the way.
Upon arrival to whichever boatyard you choose you will be shown your boat and then you will be given a lesson on how to drive it. For all of you that are thinking you could never navigate your own boat, believe me its really simple, i was steering by myself at the age of 5 and if i can do it anybody can. The boats for hire are like luxury caravans on water. Each boat has bedrooms,a full working kitchen,a bathroom with a shower or bath,a living room with couches, a t.v and most importantly double glazed windows so that you can take in the breathe taking surroundings. Once your all unpacked and your confident you know how to handle the boat you can get on your way. You now have over 200 miles of river to explore and where you go and which pretty little villages you visit is entirely up to you. Dotted along the way are also plenty of little country pubs where you can relax and have a quiet drink by the river or a bite to eat. You dont necessarily have to eat out as you have your own kitchen with a fridge and a cooker so your free to choose.
The rivers are packed full of wildlife and if fishing is your thing then your in for a real treat. There are also plenty of nature walks along the river with bird huts, so for anybody who's into birdwatching this will be the perfect holiday for you. There are also loads of other things to do and see along the way. There are a number of windmills you can visit, old monks monestries,museums,little village gift shops,churches and much much more.
It really is a lie when people say that England isnt pretty, this really is one of the most stunning holidays you will ever take. Its so relaxing and the pace is so laid back. Your holiday is your holiday and you are free to go wherever you want whenever you want. take this holiday and i guarantee you will come back relaxed, refreshed and dying to book again!!!!"
