"A great a day out for all the family Paignton zoo is wheelchair and pushchair friendly allowing children and adults of all ages to really enjoy the wildlife, get up close and personal with the animals while taking time to visit the educational facilities around the park to learn about the animals behaviour and lifestyles. Also take a ride on the park train which takes you round the zoo a gives you a chance to get your breath back. The zoo is split into 6 areas (wetland, forest, savanna, desert, woodland and tropical) and boasts some the rarest animals in the world, set in unspoilt countryside you can really appreciate these creatures at their finest. Even when you have seen all the animals the zoo has to offer your day isn't over as you can admire the cacti and other tropical plants with Devon having a warmer climate than the rest of the country these exotic plants can grow naturally. For lunch step into the cafe for a snack or full meal or grab a hot dog at on of many snack bars dotted around the zoo. when you are ready to leave be sure to check out the well stocked gift shop for all your mementos, it has something to appeal to everyone's tastes. Paignton zoo also offer a combined entry ticket for Torquay's Living coasts another worth while day out."
