"Worcester is a city with a rich heritage which could be fun to explore. It is located next to the River Severn . And what a good location it is it is easily accessible from all parts of the country making it ideal to visit on a day trip or an overnight visit . You certainly will not get bored while you are visiting anyway the sights vary from an 11th century cathedral to the Royal Worcester porcelain factory with its museum and visitor center . On top of the hiostorical side of things the city has lots of other attractions such as riverside walks, boat trips and excellent high street and speciality shopping. The Worcester Cathedral is a great place to visit there - it has been a place of prayer and worship for 14 centuries ! The building of the present cathedral began in 1084 and what an ispirational building it really is . It has royal tombs , Medieval cloisters, an ancient crypt and Chapter House and magnificent Victorian stained glass . Some of the things in it include .King John's tomb, Prince Arthur's chantry, the early 12th Century Chapter House and St. Wulfstan's crypt. it is deidicated to Christ and the virgin Mary ."
