Scarborough Beaches

"There are two beaches in Scarborough, both offering vast stretches of surprisingly clean and pollution-free sand.
The north bay stretches from the marine drive around the castle, marching northwards up the coast towards Scalby and Whitby.
South bay, meanwhile, passes the Spa, becoming progressively more rocky as it heads towards Cayton Bay.
Either beach is fantastic for relaxing on, but for rock pools and amusement arcades you can't beat the south bay.
North bay, on the other hand, allows for a more gentle relaxation away from the busy hustle and bustle of the sea front."
