"If you are looking for a large shop which sells every sort of baby item you need then look no further than Kiddicare. Located in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Kiddicare Shop has fifteen thousand square feet of showroom space packed with all the latest nursery products one could wish for. If this is your first baby (like me) you will find everything you need here. Moreover, you will find all items for your older baby or toddler.
The next best thing about Kiddicare is its' philosophy to sell discount baby nursery products along with great service and excellent showroom facilities.
I was getting a little stressed about all the baby things that I needed to buy an the many shops that I would have to buy different items from, my friend suggested that I go to Kiddicare. Following her advice, I visited Kiddicare to buy all my much needed baby items last week. The shop is really big and everything is well laid out. The first few aisles are dedicated to all feeding and changing items including bottles, sterilisers, high-chairs, bibs, nappies. Then there is a whole aisle for toys and mobiles including all major brands like Fisher Price and Tiny Love. I bought a fab mobile and Dr. Loveheart Bear which I haven't been able to find elsewhere.
I wasn't sure about which pushchair/pram to buy but Kiddicare has a fabulous showrooom. What makes this shop steps above others is the quality of advice and support from the shopfloor staff. A nursery advisor spent about 1 hour with me while she advised and demonstrated all different types and makes of pushchairs and prams from 3 wheelers, to 4 wheelers, from Quinny to Phil and Ted's.
When you have decided which items (i.e. buggy, cot, high chair), the staff fill out a form which you take to the till. You then collect the items before you leave - this makes for a very un-stressful shop because you don't worry about what you have bought.
Being a discount store, you will see that it is much cheaper than other shops. Also, you will find items around the shop which have major discounts because they don't have a box. I got a Fisher Price Swing Chair for £25.00 when it is £60.00. I also asked for a discount on my travel system and I got £70 off.
