"Les Bouviers restaurant and hotel is a beautiful place with its own grounds, situated on Arrowsmith Road in Dorset. It is very private and quite.

The hotel has 6 luxurious rooms with ensuite bathrooms that host either steamroom/shower, airbath (mini-jacuzzi), or both. All rooms are complete with Vi-Spring beds, 70% down quilts (or microfibre quilts for those with allergies), Egyptian Cotton bed linen, personalised robes in the wardrobes, slippers for comfort, Au Lait toiletries, Coffee machines and Mineral Water, and a unique Fine Art painting.

They have four rooms suitable for honeymoon couples, with one room in particular suited with a Four Poster Bed - perfect for couples in search of something special..

There is an indoor swimming pool, extensive grounds with beautiful ponds and the most impressive part in my opinion, is the restaurant. The dinning rooms are very elegant and sophisticated, and the food is outstanding. There is also an outdoor patio area with fountain where there is space for outdoor dining in summer weather.

The Head Chef and Patron, James Coward, has won many awards and medals for his culinary delights. He prides himself on being able to offer a tailor-made menu for individual customers.

Catering to the tastes of vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs is also one of his specialities.

All the food is fresh and cooked to order, and the menus are always changing, with both Ala Carte dining and seasonally themed menus available throughout the year.

I personally enjoy the "menu suprise" which is a seven course menu that is a suprise to you. You just tell them what you dont like and the Chef, James(semi-finalist in chef of the year 2006), chooses everything for you, even the perfect wine! This service is very reasonably priced too, at only £65 (or £49 without wine) but is for a minimum of two people.

The staff are always very professional, but very friendly too. They are always happy to go the extra mile for the customers, they arrange functions and parties of the highest quality too."
