"Café en Seine is a large café/bar in the heart of Dublin city right beside Grafton Street, the main shopping street of the city.
By day it is a café serving lunch and an excellent selection of coffees and pastries. At night it turns into one of Dublin's most stylish pubs with very trendy customers with an excellent range of cocktails and beers.
The décor is decadent art nouveau in the style of a Parisian coffee house and includes fine sculptures, furniture and decorations. The bar is full of exotic plants and tree's and the walls are decorated with large mirrors and artwork.
It is a huge place with three floors. The first floor features a grand piano and has a balcony which overlooks the front and back sections of the bar. Despite it being big you shouldn't have to wait too long for a drink as there are 5 bars and waitresses
If the weather is nice they have outside seating too which makes a lovely setting to just sit and watch the passers by.
This is definitely somewhere I'd recommend going to even if it's just for one drink to look at the stunning décor.
The prices are quite high but then it is Dublin city centre and most of the bars are expensive here.
If you're searching for the traditional Irish pub then this is not for you but if you want to go somewhere with a nice ambiance to enjoy a night with friends then this is great and definately worth a visit.
