"Glamis castle
The Glamis castle can be found in Angus in between Perth and Aberdeen. The castle is supposed to be one of Scotland's most impressive castles on a magnificent setting. The castle used to be the family home of the earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne. It also used to be a childhood home of her majesty queen Elizabeth the queen mother. And is also the setting of one of Shakespeare's most famous plays Macbeth. At the castle you can go for a nice walk in the gardens and grounds which have been newly created. For the plant lovers there is a wide selection with daffodils, rhododendrons, snowdrops, and azaleas being just some of them. Or why not go for a walk along the river Dean which allows you to get close to the highland cattle and red squirrels both of which can be see as you walk through the nature trail. Be sure to take tour of the best rooms in the castle where you will be told the story of Glamis, and also be informed about its links to history and legends.
