"If are looking for a city break then Glasgow's West End has everything you could possibly need.

Byres Road has an amazing selection of restaurants, barsand shops, and yet still manages to maintain a relaxed atmosphere. And just by jumping on the underground you can reach the city centre in ten minutes.

From the West End you can drive straight up Great Western Road for about half an hour, forty minutes to get to the very beautiful and peaceful Loch Lomond.

Staying in the West End there is, of course, the Botanic Gardens which is the place to go on a hot sunny day. There are really too many things to do to list but I can assure you accomodation won't be a problem - from B&Bs to 4* hotels, there is bound to be somewhere to suit any budget."
